Rain Fly
A rain fly is a separate piece of fabric that covers the roof (and sometimes a good portion of the walls) of your tent, and functions to prevent rain from entering through the mesh panels in the tent body. Tents that employ the use of a rain fly are also called "Double-wall tents".
